What Are Stem Cells?

They are the cells that form us.  We can now harvest stem cells from fat, bone, amniotic fluid, umbilical cords, and placental fluid; however, not all sources have an equal amount of stem cells in them.  Below is a comparison of the approximate number of stem cells per cells in different body sources:

  • Adipose Tissue 4,734 cells/mL to 1.55 million/mL
  • Bone Marrow 1 cell/mL to 317,400/mL
  • Placental/Amniotic 1,000 cells/mL to 30,000 cells/mL
  • Umbilical Cord 10,000 cells/mL to 4.7 million/mL

When getting stem cells, no matter the source, ask for the number of stem cells you will be receiving.

If the doctor will not give you a number, then maybe those cells are not for you.

Stem Cells are the cells that form us.  They are in our own eyes, skin, brain, lungs and everything that is you.  Today’s Stem Cell Therapy offers hope to many patients who suffer from chronic diseases such as Autism, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Many Joint Conditions, etc.  Stem cells can be easily administered to problematic areas via injection or IV.  These simple procedures avoid the complicated and dangerous nature of surgical procedures.

What is stem cell therapy (regenerative medicine), and how does it work?
